Stara Sokolova is produced using a two century long tradition of Bogdanovic family from the village Kostojevic near Bajina Basta. Families were recognized by how good their slivovitz was. Distilled from the mixture of traditional and modern sorts of plums, it got its name from the region of its origin. Sokolova slivovitza is uniquely smooth with vanilla, orange blossom and earthy notes on the nose. Sold across Western Serbia for almost two centuries. | |
